FEMME FRIENDS by CHRIS BARTON

polka dot
thunderstorm
red convertible

we curb parked
by the graveyard
to laugh

at the phallic
shadows
of cement

why not
go drink

a bottle
of red wine

on gravel patios

just to sit
under string lights

& feel consumed
