GOTH GOSPEL by JORDAN HOXSIE

meteor showers are akin to childbirth
disasters waiting to happen

a blinking vessel
a product of snowflakes splitting

blood interpreted as fingerpaint
kissing the unturned cheek

all of your qualities snowball
over glass cliffs

calves remain pale and awkward
to plucked baby breath

crop circles emerge from tinkering
with object permanence
