Epiphany 2021 Fresh Voices Fellowship: “Epiphany is thrilled to announce the Fresh Voices Fellowship, a year-long fellowship supporting one emerging Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other writer of color who does not have an MFA and is not currently enrolled in a degree-granting creative writing program.” Deadline: July 1. No fee.

Fiyah Lit Mag: “FIYAH is a quarterly speculative fiction magazine that features stories by and about Black people of the African Diaspora.” Current Theme: ” LOVE, DEATH, AND ANDROIDS: are survivors. Inspired by an animated series of a similar name, we’re looking for work that gets weird, that examines the construct of humanity, the relationship between humans and their machines or which blurs the lines between them.” Submissions open June 1-July 31. No fee.

Perhappened Press Digital Chapbook Submissions: “We are now open for submissions of chapbook manuscripts, which we will format, design, and publish digitally across our website and amazon kindle beginning in february 2021, with new chapbooks releasing every two months​ after that. As chapbooks are a massive undertaking, our submissions are not restricted to one theme or genre. we are open to single submissions of 20–50 pages of poetry, flash / short fiction, and/or creative nonfiction (multiple pieces, not excerpts).” Deadline: June 30.
