7/19: The Seventh Wave is currently open for previously unpublished poetry, flash fiction, flash CNF, short screenplays, hybrid, interactive works, and visual art for its On Gaming anthology. Prose submissions can be up to 3,000 words, and up to 4 poems/pieces of art per submission.
In your submission, include your full name, email address, a 2-6 sentence bio, a Statement of Interest/Artist Statement, and a website/portfolio link (optional), and upload to Submittable. If you are unable to pay the $7 fee, we are happy to waive it, no questions asked. Please send all of the above materials to submit@seventhwavemag.com, and write “[Your Last Name] • On [Anthology Name]” in the subject line. For example, “Chen + On Endings.” Please attach your submissions in Word Docs or PDF formats.
7/31: Recenter Press Poetry Journal is currently accepting poetry and art submissions. Submissions can be simultaneous and previously published (with acknowledgement of any previous publications in your submission).
Poetry Submissions: Send 1-5 poems as an attachment with the Subject line: “POETRY SUBMISSION [First & Last Name]” and short bio including relevant website links and social media handles to recenterpressjournal@gmail.com.
Visual Art Submissions: Send 5-20 images as an attachment with the “ART SUBMISSION: [First & Last Name]” and short bio including relevant website links and social media handles to recenterpressjournal@gmail.com. Alternatively, you may include a link to a Google Drive folder with your submissions, ensuring that all of the images are eligible for publication with Recenter Press.
8/11: Short Fiction is currently accepting fiction submissions between 500 and 5,000 words from submitters from any country other than the U.S. Submissions can be simultaneous or previously published in a print medium with the addition of an acknowledgment. Include story’s title, word count, and a brief bio with submission.
Format: Please use a widely accessible format such as .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf or .odt. Use a standard font like Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial, 11/12pt unless the story itself dictates different formatting. You can include page numbers or not, double-space or not, but please give us reasonable margins. Just make it readable.
