Applications for the Tin House Editorial Internship are now open. This remote and paid internship seeks applicants with a passion for contemporary literature and discerning taste in fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Candidates should have an interest in learning about the editorial role at an independent publishing house. The intern will work directly with the Tin House editorial team and experience the full production process of a book, from start to finish.

khōréō magazine is open for flash (under 1500 words) and short fantasy, sci-fi, or horror fiction (1500-5000 words; 3500 preferred) submissions from writers who identify as immigrants or members of a diaspora. Cover letter not mandatory, but add content warning to submission if necessary.

Doubleback Press is currently open for submissions of books that have gone out of print since the year 2000 due to their presses closing. Email book as a PDF or DOC format, a brief cover letter with information about you, your work, and the manuscript’s genre, name of original publisher, and name and contact info of original publisher’s former E-i-C (if available) to doublebackbooks2014@gmail.com.
